He changed his name in the year 2017 by changing his name from Mike Towers, to Myke Towers. This was to pay tribute to Young Kingz music group of which he's a part. The initial i in their name was replaced by a y. Myke Towers, an Puerto Rican rapper who has worked in the music scene since his teenage years started publishing his freestyles and songs on his SoundCloud page. He became popular with his tracks Dia de cobro Por Mi Es Normal and En los Bloques. In 2014, he received notoriety for his La Nueva Droga freestyle and his interpretation of Drake's original track Zero to 100 percent.
