Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast born March 14, 1997 in Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be one of the most outstanding gymnasts. Biles was an U.S. female gymnast, Biles was the sole gymnast to win four gold medals at one Games at the 2016 Olympics. Biles was the only person to have three world championships in succession. Biles as well as their younger sibling Adria were conceived by Ronald Biles and Nellie Biles' grandparents in Spring Texas (in the Houston region) and grew up in the Houston area. Simone was interested in gymnastics at age six in a day-care field excursion in Bannon's Gymnastix and she remained there for 11 years, under supervision of trainer Aimee Boorman. Biles, who won gold and bronze medals at the women's Junior Olympic National Championships 2010 in floor and vault before making her debut in 2011 in the elite division of the competition. The following year Biles was the king of the field. What set Biles apart was her consistency her flamboyant attitude and the extreme level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor workout.
